Chief Technology Officer
Coordinate technology development and acquisition within and between Opus Group companies.  Identify technology trends in associated markets, and communicate new technology direction across organizational lines.  Engage in mergers and acquisitions.  Opus Group employs 2000 people to improve public safety through cleaner air and safer road traffic by providing vehicle emissions and vehicle safety inspection services as well as vehicle diagnostics and vehicle registration and titling services.  Opus has offices in 20 U.S. states as well as Sweden, UK, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Australia, and Pakistan.

OPUS INSPECTION, INC., Tucson, AZ                                                   2012-2015
Vice President Engineering
Came out of early retirement to assist in managing the rapid growth of Opus Inspection.  Directed new technology development, oversaw new program engineering efforts, and assisted in strategic business development.  Managed the simultaneous implementation of six new projects key to the company's success while growing the engineering talent pool from twelve to sixty personnel and implementing project planning and project management infrastructure.

Co-founded the company as “Keating Technologies, Inc.” and co-managed all aspects of growth from two employees and zero revenues to 350 employees and $43 million revenues.  The company contracts to state and municipal governments for implementation and operation of vehicle emissions and safety inspection programs. Sold the company for $60+ million U.S. to Agbar - Sociedad General De Aguas De Barcelona.  The company has since been renamed Applus+ Technologies.

ENVIROTEST SYSTEMS CORP., Tucson, AZ                                         1993-1995
Vice President of Engineering
Directed hardware and software development.  Responsible for an engineering department of 47 people.  Also responsible for technical content of all new business proposals and for technology implementation of newly won contracts.  The firm employed 2900 with annual revenues of $120 million (U.S.).

EMITEST CORPORATION, Ann Arbor, MI                                               1992-1993
President, Owner
Owner/Operator of this consulting startup corporation providing emissions analyzer manufacturers and vehicle inspection contractors with technical and marketing services including product and market analysis as well as proposal development.

SENSORS, INC., Saline, MI                                                                       1976-1992
President 1990-1992
Directed both U.S. and European operations for this leading manufacturer of gas analysis instruments for automotive emissions and medical applications.  The firm’s annual sales totaled $14 million with 110 employees. Other positions included:  Executive VP 1989-1990, VP Marketing 1986-1989, Chief Engineer 1984-1986, and Engineer 1978-1984.
